Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt – Shenbakkam
Sri Raghavendra Swamy
Mutt is an ancient temple located in Shenbakkam Village in Vellore district of
Tamilnadu State.
It is located on the banks of Palar river
Sri Madhvacharya visited this Navabrindavana and wrote a book on Vishnu Sahasranamam.
Sri Vyasaraya installed a Sanjeeviraya Hanuman here.
The brindavanas of Sri Sripathi Theertha and Sri Kambaal Ramachandra Theertha of the Vyasaraja Matha are located at the entrance
Smaller brindavanas of Sri Kesava Udayaru, Sri Govinda Madhava Udayaru, Sri Bhoovaraaga Udayaru, and Sri Raghunatha Udayaru, about whom nothing is known, emerge below their brindavanas in a slightly underground chamber.
It is a Dhakshina Navabrindavana because Sri Raghavendra Swamy created it in the early 1990s.
An early 1990s mrithika brindavana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy, makes it a Dhakshina Navabrindavana.
