Bhavishya Badri Temple Timings - Subhain

 


Bhavishya Badri Temple is located in Subhain village near Joshimath in  the state of Uttarakhand.  


It is one of the Pilgrimage of the Sapta Temples. It is fourth among the Sapta Badri temples.


According to beliefs, Lord Badri will take abode in Bhavisya Badri at the end of Kaliyuga.


Even the name of the place literally translates to Future Badri implying that it will be the future residence of Lord Badri.


It is at an altitude of 2744 mts above sea level.


When Kaliyuga will befall of mankind the mountains of Nara and Narasimha will the block the route to Badrinath. When the shrine will become inaccessible, Lord Badri will appear here.


The temple Narsingh located at Joshimath has a beautifully carved statue of Lord Narasimha Carrying a sword. As per traditions, the arm carrying that sword is getting thinner year by year, and in Kaliyug this arm will breakdown.


Best time to Visit – May to July, September to October


The weather is cold throughout the year. Rainfalls and Snowfalls often occur here. One should wear proper winter clothes with mufflers and gloves.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month.
