TTD is organising Garuda Seva on the auspicious day of Panchami at Tirumala which occurs on Saturday, July 25.   In view of COVID-19 restrictions, the annual festival will take place  in Ekantkam within the Srivari temple premises between 5pm and 6pm. The legends say that annual fete was performed for sake of newly wed couple and to beget them children born with power, strength and stamina like Garuda.

In view of COVID restrictions, TTD has planned to make the devotees to participate in Varalakshmi Vratam at Tiruchanoor on July 31 through virtual feat.  TTD is organising the Vratam in online upon the request of devotees as the holy event is being held in ekantham in view of Covid-19 restrictions. However, it is reiterated that TTD has not revived any arjita sevas either in Tirumala Srivari temple or in other TTD local temples. TTD is organising the three day annual Avatarotsavam festival of Sri Sundararajaswami, a sub-shrine in Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple complex at Tiruchanoor from July 9-11th in Ekantham in view of Covid-19 restrictions. On all these three days, Snapana Tirumanjanam is performed to the utsava idols of Sri Sundararaja swami at the Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam followed by Unjal seva in the evening. Ahead of the festival TTD organised, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, cleansing of the temple premises on Tuesday morning. Temple legend show that the utsava idols of Sri Sundararaja swami located in the Alagiya Perumal Koil of Madurai was brought to Tiruchanoor when it was raided by Muslim kings. The avatarotsavam is celebrated every year in recognition of the transfer of the utsava idols to Tiruchanoor.
