Sri Venkatachalapathy Swamy Temple – Krishnapuram

  Sri Venkatachalapathy Swamy Temple is located at Krishnapuram Village in Tirunelveli district of Tamilnadu State. Venkatachalapathy is this temple's main deity, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The sanctum houses the image of Venkatachalapathy in standing posture 4 ft (1.2 m) and is made of granite sporting four arms. Two of his arms hold the conch and Chakra, while the other two sport Abayamudra and Kadahasta.   Venkatachalapathi Temple has 5 tiered Rajagopuram the temple's gateway tower is 110 ft. (34 m) tall.   Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is located in Thenneri Agaram Village in Kanchipuram district of Tamilnadu State. The main deity of this temple is Srinivasa Perumal who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Goddess. Goddesses Sri Devi and Bhoodevi are consorts of Lord Vishnu.   In the month of Shravan, Babadham becomes more significant. Numerous thousands of worshipers visit the Baba Baidyanath shrine during this time. Most of them travel to Sultanganj, located 105 kilometers from Babadham, initially. The Ganges runs north of Sultanganj. The pilgrims carry the holy Ganges water on their shoulders while carrying water from this location in their Kanwars. They recite Bol Bam as they travel 109 kilometers to the Baba Baidyanath temple in Babadham. When the Kanwarias arrive in Babadham, they first bathe in the Shivaganga to cleanse themselves before going inside the Baba Baidyanath temple, where Ganges water is offered to the Jyotirlingam. 2023 Dates: July 4 to July 17, 17 August to 31 August. 

Padmini Ekadasi

Padmini Ekadashi is observed during the waxing phase of the moon (Shukla Paksha) only in the Adhika Masam or an extra month added to the Hindu lunar calendar. It is also known as Kamala Ekadasi. King Kartavirya was the ruler of the kingdom of Tretayuga. The king had been married to a thousand queens only on the pretext of having a son that could rule his dynasty. Hence to get a son, the king had performed several austerities for over ten thousand years but to no avail. Thus, he set out to the forests. Knowingly, Padmini (one of the thousand queens of Kartavirya) followed him and met Anasuya (Maha Pathivrata) on the way. On enquiring about any vrat that could help in conceiving a baby, Anasuya asked her to observe two Ekadashis that fall in the Adhika Masam. As directed, both Kartavirya and Padmini observed the fasts. Sri Muktidham Mandir – Nashik

  Sri Muktidham Mandir is located in Nashik city of Maharastra State. In Muktidham temple, Lord Krishna is the Main Deity. Apart from Sri Krishna there are also idols of all major Hindu Gods and Goddesses in temple.   Apart from the replicas of all the twelve Jyotirlingas and temple of Sri Krishna there are also idols of all major Hindu Gods and Goddesses like Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Rama, Lakshman, Sita, Hanuman, Durga, Ganesh.   Sri Sundarnarayan Swamy Temple is located in Nashik city of Maharastra State. Sundarnarayan is this temple's main deity, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Vishnu with Goddess Shri Lakshmi and Goddess Shri Saraswathi who are placed in the sanctum of the temple.   Sundarnarayan Temple has a Lord Vishnu's temple and the reason for the name "Sunder" is that he once became ugly by the curse given by Jalandar's (wicked demon) wife Vrinda. Tirumala: Srivari Pushkaraini to Close from August 01

  As a practice, to undertake cleaning works and civil repairs of Swamy Pushkarini in connection with ensuing brahmotsavams scheduled in September and October this year, the Srivari Pushkarini will remain closed from August 1-31 for cleansing purposes. TTD has also subsequently canceled Pushkarini Harati till the completion of these works. Normally there is no stagnation of water in Pushkarani because of the presence of an efficient recycling system with which a ratio of fresh water is recycled regularly. The TTD water works department conducts a cleaning drive of temple tank waters and after repairs, water with a Ph value of 7 is refilled.
