  As part of Surya Jayanti celebrations, the TTD is organising Rathasapthami, which is popularly known as mini or Upa Brahmotsavams on February 19 at Tirumala. The processional deity of Sri Malayappa Swamy commenced His celestial and majestic ride on Saptha vahanams with Surya Prabha Vahanam as Suryanarayana Murthy between 5.30 am and 8am along four Mada streets.   Apsrtc has decided to sell 1000 Seegra Darshan Tickets to devotees. This will be available to those travel by APSRTC. Devotees can avail this facility and make reservations while buying a bus ticket by paying Rs 300 more. The Sheeghra Darshan facility will be available twice a day- once at 11 AM and 4 PM .
