2021 : Sri Vari Vasantotsavam at Tirumala from April 24 – 26.

TTD is organising three-day fete of annual Vasantotsavam at Srivari Temple from April 24-26 in Ekantham in view of Covid guidelines. As part of the of the festival conducted in the spring season Sri Malayappa Swami is worshipped with flowers and assorted fruits. Daily Snapana Tirumanjanam for utsava idols of Sri Malayappa Swami and His consorts will be performed in the morning and procession along Mada streets in the evening. TTD has cancelled Swarna Ratham procession in view of Covid on second day of annual brahmotsavams. On the third day the parivara devatas of Sri Sita – Rama – Lakshmana  – Anjaneya, Rukmini – Sri Krishna are also offered Snapana Tirumanjanam along with Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi. As part of festivities, TTD has cancelled the arjita sevas (virtual) including Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, and Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara seva on all these three days .

Covid Alert : Travancore Devaswom Board imposes restrictions, Guidelines issued for devotees

  From the directions issued by state government of kerala, Travancore board has issued some guidelines for darshan. More than 10 people are not allowed for darshan at a time. Devotees should maintain social distance inside and outside the temple Temple staff and devotees must wear mask Devotees should be allowed to temple after thermal screening Devotees aged above 60 and less than 10 are not allowed Sanitizers should be made available at all temples Maximum of 75 people are allowed to be present during temple festival and rituals Temples should be opened at 6 am and must be closed after 7 pm All temple staff should take Covid 19 Vaccination at the earliest. Bali offerings and related annadanam should be done strictly adhering to the Covid 19 Protocols.  

2021 : Pushpayagam at Tirupati Kodanda Rama Temple

  TTD is organising the annual Pushpa yagam at Sri Kodandaramaswami temple on April 19 in Ekantham as per Covid guidelines while it’s Ankurarpanam on April 18. As part of the fete, Snapana Tirumanjanam is performed for the utsava idols while Pushpa Abhishekam to Sita Lakshmana sameta Sri Kodandaramaswami in the evening followed by a grand procession inside the temple. The purpose of Pushpa yagam is to ward off the impact of any lapses in rituals during the recently held annual Brahmotsavams from March 13-21.

Covid Alert 2021 : TTD Temporarily Suspends Sarva Darshan Tokens from April 12

In view of the spike in Covid cases across the country in recent times, TTD has announced that it will suspend the issue of Sarva Darshan tokens at Tirupati from April 12 onwards i.e. SD tokens will be issued till the evening of April 11 only. In a statement on Wednesday TTD said Covid cases were on the spurt again in Tirupati city. Since thousands of devotees have to wait at Bhudevi complex and Vishnu Nivasam for time slot tokens the prospect of Covid cases is likely to increase. With the spurt in Covid cases from the last few days, the Shirdi temple in Maharashtra has already suspended Darshan. As in Tirupati also the Covid cases are increasing, TTD has taken this decision of dispensing with SSD tokens in Tirupati from Monday onwards. TTD said the above decision was taken keeping in view of the health safety of devotees and any resumption of tokens in future will be formally announced.  

Sri Tiruvirkolanadhar Temple Timings - Korukkambedu

Sri Tiruvirkolanadhar temple is located at Korukkambedu village in Tiruvallur district in the State of Tamilnadu. Thiruvirkolanathar is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Sri Madhava Perumal Temple Timings - Mylapore

Sri Madhava Perumal Temple is located at Mylapore in Chennai City in the state of Tamilnadu. Madhava Perumal is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The lord is in sitting posture is called Paramapadanathan holding the Sudarshana, Panchajanya and Gadhayutha in his three hands with the fourth one in Abhaya Hasta Pose.
