MAHA SAMPROKSHANA OF SRI VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE AT AMARAVATI

TTD is organizing the Maha Samprokshana fete of the newly built Sri Venkateswara temple at Amaravati from June 5-9 with Ankurarpanam on June 4.   As per the schedule of five-day celebrations, the rituals of Shobha yatra, Punyahavachanam, Acharya Ritwick Varanam, Mrutsangrahanam, and Ankurarpanam will be performed between 6.30pm and 7pm on June 4.   On June 5 morning rituals of Punyahavachanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Akalmasha Homam, Akashi Mochanam and Panchagavyadhivasa will be performed.   Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is located on the Balepete Main road in Bengaluru city. This temple was built 250 years ago. This was found by a devotee in Suvarna Mukhi pond near Bannerghatta. 2022 : Sundara Raja Swamy Avatara Utsavams at Tiruchanur

The annual Sundara Raja Swamy Avatara Mahotsavams in Tiruchanoor temple from June 20-22.   Every day there will be Abhishekam between 2 pm and 3:30 pm. On first day evening Pedda Sesha Vahanam, second day evening Hanumantha Vahanam, last day Garuda Vahanam takes place.   During these three days, Unjal Seva remains canceled.

Vat Purnima Vrat

Vat Purnima vrat is observed on Jyestha Purnima by married women in North India. It is also observed in western states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa It is explained in the epic Mahabharat. Women observe fast and tie a thread around a banyan tree for the well-being of their husband. As per legend the great Savitri tricked Lord Yama, the lord of death, and compelled him to return the life of her husband Satyawan. 2022 Date: May 30th. 

2022: Teppotsavam at Tiruchanur Temple

TTD  is organizing annual Teppotsavams at Sri Padmavati temple, Tiruchanoor from June 10-14 wherein Goddess Padmavati rides on a float in the Padma Sarovaram daily evening in different avatars. After float rides in different avatars for five days, the TTD organized Snapana Tirumanjanam for the utsava idols of Sri Padmavati on the last three days at the Nirata Mandapam. Similarly, Gaja vahana on June 13 and Garuda Vahana on June 14 night will be held. TTD has canceled arjita sevas including Kayanotsavam, and Unjal seva on all five days of the float festival. The artists of HDPP, Annamacharya Project, and Dasa Sahitya Project would present cultural programs, Bhakti sangeet, bhajans, and Kolatas on all five days.

Shamlaji Fair 2022

Shamlaji fair takes place in a small town, Shamlaji, in Gujarat.  Shamlaji fair is also known as the Kartik Poornima fair, as it is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Kartik.  The Shamlaji Temple is a renowned Vaishnav Shrine and the deity housed here is known by various names including Gadadhar (bearer of the mace) and Sakshi Gopal. The temple is of great archaeological significance as it was built in the 11th century. Devotees belonging to various castes and communities including the Garasias and Bhils throng this festival. Apart from a darshan of the deity in the temple, the pilgrims consider a bath in the river Meshwo essential.
