మహాలయ అమావాస్య రోజు ఏమి చేయాలి ?

 భాద్రపద మాసంలో వచ్చే అమావాస్యను మహాలయ లేదా సర్వ పితృ అమావాస్యగా పిలుస్తారు. ఈ రోజు పూర్వీకులకు శ్రాద్ధం  , తర్పణం కర్మలను చేయడం ద్వారా ప్రత్యేక ఫలాలను పొందవచ్చు. పితృ పక్షాలు ఈరోజుతో ముగుస్తాయి. ఈ రోజు  పూర్వీకులకు తర్పణం సమర్పించడం వల్ల పితృ దోషం నుండి  విముక్తి లభిస్తుంది. ఈ సమయంలో విడిచే తర్పణంతో పూర్వీకులు   సంతోషించి తమ వారసులను ఆశీర్వదిస్తారు. చేయాల్సిన పనులు ఈ రోజు  ఉదయం నిద్రలేచి స్నానం చేసి పూర్వీకులను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకుంటూ తర్పణ విడవాలి. బ్రాహ్మణులకు స్వయం పాకం ఇవ్వాలి, లేదా అన్నదానం కూడా చేయవచ్చు  ఈ రోజు అన్నదానం చేసిన వారి ఆర్ధిక కష్టాలు తీరుతాయి అని నమ్మకం  ఈ రోజు ఇంటి ఈశాన్యంలో పూజ చేసి ఆవు నెయ్యి దీపం వెలిగిస్తే సమస్యలు దూరం అవుతాయి. చేయకూడని పనులు  ఈ రోజున మాసం, ఉల్లిపాయ, వెల్లుల్లిని ఆహారంగా తీసుకోరాదు. ఈ రోజున జుట్టు, గోళ్లను కత్తిరించకూడదు, క్షవరం చేయకూడదు. 

మహాలయ అమావాస్య

భాద్రపద బహుళ అమావాస్యని మహాలయ అమావాస్య అంటారు. చనిపోయినవారందరి స్మృతికోసం చేసే ఈ అమావాస్యను సర్వ పితృ అమావాస్య అని కూడా అంటారు. చనిపోయిన తమ పెద్దల జ్ఞాపకార్ధం ఏ కులం వారైనా, ఏ మతం వారైనా, ఏ వర్గం వారైనా పాటించే కార్యక్రమం ఇది.  హిందువులు తర్పణలు వదులుతారు. కొందరు పెద్దలకి బియ్యమిస్తారు. ఏ జాతి వారైనా, ఏ కులం వారైనా, వాళ్ళెక్కడవున్నా, వారి వారి సంప్రదాయాన్నిబట్టి, ఇంటి ఆచారాల్నిబట్టి, వాళ్ల వాళ్ల అనుకూలతనుబట్టి పితృ దేవతలను సంస్మరించుకునే రోజు ఇది. లేకపోతే రౌరవాది నరకాలకి పోతారంటారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో కేవలం చనిపోయిన తండ్రి, తల్లులనే కాదు వారి ముందు ఇంకో రెండు తరాల వారిని కూడా సంస్మరిస్తారు  ఈ  రోజున శివున్ని భక్తిశ్రద్దలతో కొలుస్తారు, ఇలా చేస్తే కీర్తి ప్రతిష్టలు పొందుతారు అని నమ్మకం ఉంది. అంతే కాదు భక్తి శ్రద్దలతో పూజిస్తే జీవితంలోని కష్టాలన్నీ తొలగిపోతాయని శాస్త్రాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. శనిదేవుడిని కూడా ఈ అమావాస్య వేళ పూజిస్తే జీవితంలో ఎదుర్కొంటోన్న కష్టాలన్నీ తీరిపోతాయని శాస్త్రాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. ఈ  రోజు పెద్దలకు తర్పణలు వదలాలి. వారిని తలచుకుని బ్రాహ్మణులకు భోజనం పెట్టాలి. అలాగే పేదలకు అన్నదాన

  Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple is located to the north of Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple, on the banks of Swamy Pushkarini. So Tirumala is also called as Adivarahakshetra. TTD launches QR Code facility for Tirumala Locations

Devotees who are thronging Tirumala from different parts of the country, speaking different lingos need not have to struggle to get proper directions, as TTD has come out with yet another pilgrim-friendly initiative. TTD launched a new QR code facility on Tuesday . Usually, the Srivari Seva volunteers hail from 13 states across the country and especially those coming from Northern and Eastern States feel difficulty in searching the places where they were allotted duty due to the language barrier.   However, this new facility will provide an easy way out to reach the required destination with ease. All they have to do is to scan the QR code on their smartphones and get instant directions to over 40 locations in Tirumala including CRO, Additional EO Office, all cottages, rest houses, laddu counters, Vaikuntam queue complex, Vigilance office, hospitals, Museum, Mutts, Mada streets, police station, luggage and mobile storage units and others.
