తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో ఆగ‌స్టు 8 నుంచి 10వ తేదీ వరకు పవిత్రోత్సవాలు జరుగనున్నాయి. ఆగ‌స్టు 7న అంకురార్పణంతో ఈ ఉత్సవాలు ప్రారంభమవుతాయి. ఏడాది పొడవునా ఆలయంలో జరిగే అర్చనలు, ఉత్సవాల్లో యాత్రికుల వల్లగానీ, సిబ్బంది వల్లగానీ తెలియక కొన్ని దోషాలు జరుగుతుంటాయి. వీటివల్ల ఆలయ పవిత్రతకు ఎలాంటి లోపం రానీయకుండా ఆగమశాస్త్రం ప్రకారం పవిత్రోత్సవాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. పవిత్రోత్సవాలు తిరుమలలో 15-16 శతాబ్దాల వరకు జరిగినట్టు ఆధారాలున్నాయి. 1962వ సంవత్సరం నుంచి దేవస్థానం ఈ ఉత్సవాలను పునరుద్ధరించింది. ఉత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా మూడు రోజుల పాటు ఆల‌యంలోని సంపంగి ప్రాకారంలో ఉదయం 9 నుంచి 11 గంటల వరకు స్నపనతిరుమంజనం నిర్వ‌హిస్తారు. సాయంత్రం ప్రత్యేకంగా అలంకరించిన ఆభరణాలతో శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీమలయప్పస్వామివారు ఆల‌య నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో విహ‌రించి భ‌క్తుల‌కు ద‌ర్శ‌న‌మిస్తారు. ఆగ‌స్టు 8న పవిత్రాల ప్రతిష్ట, ఆగ‌స్టు 9న పవిత్ర సమర్పణ, ఆగస్టు 10న పూర్ణాహుతి కార్య‌క్ర‌మాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

 హిందూ ధ‌ర్మ‌ప్ర‌చారంలో భాగంగా జాన‌ప‌ద క‌ళ‌ల‌ను ప‌రిర‌క్షించి అవి అంత‌రించిపోకుండా కాపాడేందుకు టిటిడి కృషి చేస్తోంది. ఇందులో భాగంగా కరోనా కారణంగా తిరుమలలో కొంత కాలం పాటు నిలిచిపోయిన అఖండ హరినామ సంకీర్తన కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఆగస్టు 1వ తేదీ నుండి తిరిగి ప్రారంభించ‌నుంది. వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుండి జానపద కళాకారులు తిరుమ‌ల‌కు విచ్చేసి అన్నమయ్య, త్యాగయ్య తదితర వాగ్గేయకారుల భజనలు, కీర్తనలు ఆలపిస్తారు. ఈ కార్య‌క్ర‌మంలో పాల్గొనే భ‌జ‌న బృందాల స‌భ్యుల‌కు వ‌స‌తి, భోజ‌నం, ద‌ర్శ‌నం క‌ల్పిస్తారు. రాను పోను బ‌స్సు ఛార్జీల‌కు అయ్యే రుసుమును వారి బ్యాంకు ఖాతాల్లో నేరుగా జ‌మ చేస్తారు. భ‌జ‌న బృందాల స‌భ్యుల‌కు నిర్దేశిత స్లాట్ కేటాయించి వారి వివ‌రాల‌ను టిటిడి వెబ్‌సైట్ www.tirumala.org లో అందుబాటులో ఉంచుతారు. ఆగ‌స్టు నెల‌కు సంబంధించి కేటాయించిన స్లాట్ల వివ‌రాల‌ను ఇప్ప‌టికే వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో పొందుప‌రిచారు. తిరుమ‌ల‌తోపాటు వివిధ జిల్లాల్లోని టిటిడి ఆల‌యాల్లో జ‌రిగే ఉత్స‌వాల్లో ప్ర‌ద‌ర్శ‌న‌కు భ‌జ‌న బృందాల స‌భ్యుల‌కు అవ‌కాశం క‌ల్పిస్తారు.

వాల్మీకిపురం శ్రీ పట్టాభిరామస్వామివారి పట్టాభిషేక మహోత్సవాలు ఆగస్టు 2 నుండి 4వ తేదీ వరకు వైభవంగా జరుగనున్నాయి. ఆగస్టు 2న అంకురార్పణంతో ఉత్సవాలు ప్రారంభంకానున్నాయి. మొదటిరోజు సేనాధిపతి ఉత్సవం జరుగనుంది. ఆగస్టు 3వ తేదీన ఉదయం యాగశాల పూజ, స్నపనతిరుమంజనం నిర్వహిస్తారు. సాయంత్రం 5 గంటలకు ఊంజల్‌సేవ, 6 గంటలకు శ్రీ సీతారామ శాంతి కళ్యాణం, రాత్రి 8 గంటలకు హనుమంత వాహనసేవ నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ఆగస్టు 4న ఉదయం యాగశాల పూజ, స్నపనతిరుమంజనం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం శ్రీరామ పట్టాభిషేక మహోత్సవం కన్నుల పండువగా జరుగనుంది. సాయంత్రం 5 గంటలకు ఊంజల్‌ సేవ, రాత్రి 7 గంటలకు గరుడ వాహనంపై శ్రీపట్టాభిరాముడు విహరించి భక్తులకు దర్శనభాగ్యం కల్పిస్తారు.

శ్రీ విరోధి నామ సంవత్సరం శ్రావణ బహుళ విదియ నాడు 1671లో శ్రీ గురు రాఘవేంద్ర స్వామి సశరీరంగా బృందావన ప్రవేశం చేశారు.ఈ సందర్భాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని ప్రతి సంవత్సరం సప్త రాత్రోత్సవాల పేరిట ఆరాధనోత్సవాలను నిర్వహిస్తారు.ఇవి మంత్రాలయ పీఠాధిపతుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో అంగరంగ వైభవంగా జరుగుతాయి. ఇవి ఏడు రోజులపాటు వైభవంగా నిర్వహిస్తారు.దేశ, విదేశాలలోని రాఘవేంద్ర స్వామి మఠాలలో ఈ ఉత్సవాలు మూడురోజుల పాటు జరుగుతాయి. తేదీలు : ఆగష్టు 10 - ధ్వజారోహణం, ప్రధానోత్సవం, లక్ష్మి పూజ, ధయనోత్సవం, ప్రభ ఉత్సవం. ఆగష్టు 11 - సాకోత్సవం, రజిత మంటపోత్సవం ఆగష్టు 12 - రాఘవేంద్ర స్వామి పూర్వ ఆరాధన, సింహ వాహన సేవ ఆగష్టు 13 - రాఘవేంద్ర స్వామి మధ్య ఆరాధన, పుష్ప అలంకరణ, రథోత్సవం ఆగష్టు  14 - రాఘవేంద్ర స్వామి ఉత్తర ఆరాధన, మహారథోత్సవం ఆగష్టు 15 - శ్రీ సుగుణ తీర్థుల ఆరాధన, అశ్వ వాహనం ఆగష్టు 16  - సర్వ సమర్పణోత్సవం అన్ని రాఘవేంద్ర స్వామి ఆలయాలలో ఆరాధన ఉత్సవాలు ఆగష్టు 12 నుండి 14 వరకు జరుగుతాయి. 

The annual Pattabhisheka Mahotsavams in Sri Pattabhirama Swamy temple at Valmikipuram in the Chittoor district will be held between August 2 to 4 with Ankurarpana on August 2. On August 3, Yagashala Puja, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed while in the evening Unjal Seva, Sri Sita Rama Shanti Kalyanam, Hanumantha Vahana Seva will be observed. On August 4, the Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam takes place followed by Garuda Vahana Seva in the night.

  Hariyali Amavasya is also called as Sravan Amavasya It is celebrated in Sravan month as per the North Indian calendar It comes a day after Sawan Shivratri, after three days of Hariyali Amavasya Hariyali teej is celebrated. It is celebrated with great fervor as the festival of the rainy season, on this day Lord Shiva is worshipped with full devotion. It is very renowned in the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh. In Maharashtra it is called Gatari Amavasya, in Andhra Pradesh as Chukkala Amavasya, and in Odhisa it is celebrated as Chitalagi Amavasya. Devotees get up early and take a bath and male members of the family perform ancestral rites to their deceased family members. People observe fast on this day. Special pujas take place in Lord Shiva temples In some areas People also worship the Peepal tree. Grand fairs are also organized in different parts of India. Performing Pitru Tarpan and Daan Punya activities are considered highly auspicious.

TTD will be organizing the Sri Prativadi Bhayankara Annan Sattumora at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on July 29 on his birth Nakshatra. As part of the festivities, Srivari Appapadi Prasadam will be brought in a procession to Sri Lakshmi Narayana temple in Tirupati, and the Sattumora fete is performed.  LEGEND Born in Kanchipuram Sri Prativadi Bhayankara Annan a well-known Sanskrit pundit and Sri Vaishnava Saint who penned the Suprabatham, Prapatti, and Mangala Sasanam which are in vogue at Tirumala Srivari temple to date. He was also credited for scripting commentaries for epics like Sri Bhashyam, Sri Bhagavatham, etc. Hence in recognition of his devotion and services to Sri Venkateswara Swamy, TTD is organizing a sattumora fete every year on this auspicious day.

The annual Pavitrotsavams in Tirumala will be observed between August 8 and 10 with Ankurarpana on August 7.   According to legend, this fete was in vogue till the 16th Century. TTD revived this festival in 1962.   Every day there will be Snapana Tirumanjanam between 9am and 11am.     TTD has canceled Astadala Pada Padmaradhana on August 9 while Kalyanotsavam, dolotsavam, arjita Brahmotsavam, and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas from August 8-10 because of this festival.

Srirangam is the foremost Divya Desam which is considered the resting place for Lord Vishnu. Alwars have sung the praise of Lord Ranganatha elegantly . It is Swayam Vyaktha Kshetra (Self-Manifested ). Here Lord reclines on a huge Adi Sesha (Serpent). The idol was first given by Lord Vishnu to Lord Brahma, then to the Ikshvaku dynasty, and finally to Vibheeshana by Lord Rama himself. The annual Pavitrotsavams in Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy temple near Padala Mandapam from August 22 to 24  with Ankurarpana on August 21. Pavitra Pratistha, Pavitra Samarpana, Pavitra Purnahuti will be performed on each of these three days respectively.

The Vara Lakshmi Vratam in Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi temple is scheduled for August 5. The devotees shall pay Rs. 1,001/- on which two persons shall participate in the fete that takes place in Asthana Mandapam between 10 am and 12noon.   In the evening the processional deity of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru will be paraded on Golden Chariot along the four Mada streets.   TTD has canceled Abhishekam, Abhisheka Anantara Darsanam, Lakshmi Pooja, Kalyanotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, and Break Darshan on that day.   The Varalakshmi Vratam tickets will be allotted both online and offline.

  Dakshinayana starts the day when sun enters Karkata Rasi. It is for six months. Dakshina means South and Ayana means Journey. Usually dakshinayana will starts from mid-July i.e (16/17) and ends on the 14 th or 15 th  of January. It is nighttime for Devatas. Lord Vishnu enters into yoga nidra during Ashada Suddha Ekadasi and wakes up on Karthika Suddha Ekadasi. During these four months Sadhus observe chaturmasya Deeksha. It is a period in India where the monsoon enters and many of the states receive huge rainfall. The annual Pushpayagam in Appalayagunta is scheduled for July 15 with Ankurarpana on July 14. After the Yagashala rituals, Sridevi Bhudevi sameta Sri Prasanna Venkateswara utsava murthies will be seated on a special platform and a floral bath is rendered from 2:30pm till 5pm. Later in the evening, the deities will bless devotees on Pedda Sesha Vahanam.

The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva will be observed on. July 13 at Tirumala. Coupled with the auspicious Guru Poornima or Vyasa Poornima on Wednesday evening, Sri Malayappa will take a celestial ride on the finely decked mighty Garuda Vahanam and bless His devotees along four mada streets surrounding the temple between 7pm and 9pm.

  Jaya Parvati Vrat is observed in Ashada Masam by married and unmarried women in western regions of India, especially in the state of Gujarat. It is observed for five days i.e from trayodashi and continues for consecutive days. This vrat is dedicated to worshipping Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati During these days Uma maheswara Pooja is performed On the first day of vrat wheat seeds are planted in a small bowl/pot and placed near the place of worship.
