  Sri Appakkudathaan Perumal Temple is located at Koviladi Village   near Tiruchirapalli in Thanjavur district in the state of Tamilnadu. This temple is on the banks of river Cauvery. Appakkudathaan Perumal is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is in Bhujanga Sayana Posture here. Goddess Kamalavalli is the consort of Appakkudathaan. The annual Deepavali Asthanam will be observed in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on November 4. New silks will be presented to the presiding deity from Sri Pundarikavalli Tayar Sannidhi and Asthanam will be observed between 5 pm and 6 pm on the same day.
