Tirumala Seegra Darshan Tickets from APSRTC

  Apsrtc has decided to sell 1000 Seegra Darshan Tickets to devotees. This will be available to those travel by APSRTC. Devotees can avail this facility and make reservations while buying a bus ticket by paying Rs 300 more. The Sheeghra Darshan facility will be available twice a day- once at 11 AM and 4 PM .

Significance of Mauni Amavasya Snan

The Amavasya of Magh Masa is called the Mauni Amavasya. This day is celebrated as the birthday of Manu Rishi. It is believed, Lord Brahma gave origination to Maharaja Manu and queen Shatrupa. Capricorn sign has the Yoga of Sun and Moon which increases the significance of this Amavasya. According to some scriptures Maun Vrat should be observed on this day Maun (silent) Vrat means to control all our senses. It depends on a person for how long he wants to observe silence.
