Covid Alert : TTD releases important Guidelines to Devotees

Following the increase of Covid cases in the last few days, TTD has taken some precautionary measures in view of the health security of pilgrim devotees who are coming for darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy from across the country to Tirumala. Pilgrim having a darshan slot will be allowed by Road through Alipiri, only after 1 PM on the previous day of darshan. Pilgrims having darshan slots will be allowed through Alipiri / Srivari Mettu Footpaths, only after 9 AM on the previous day of darshan. The devotees are requested to make note of these guidelines.

2021 : Pushpayagam at Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple (Srinivasa Mangapuram)

TTD is organising Pushpa Yagam at the Sri kalyana Venkateswara temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram on April 6 in Ekantham . Pushpa Yagam is performed as a remedial towards any lapses, if any, which occurred during the recently conducted annual Brahmotsavam either knowingly or unknowingly. On the April 6 afternoon, the Snapana Tirumanjanam is performed for the utsava idols of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara and His consorts Sri Devi and Sri Bhudevi. Thereafter the colourful and spectacular event of Pushpa Yagam will be conducted with large number of all traditional and cut flowers. TTD has cancelled the Arjita Seva of Kalyanotsavam on April 6 in view of Pushpa Yagam.

2021 : Arjita Seva Devotees Permitted with Covid Certificates from April 14.

  After a year of Covid restrictions the TTD has announced on Tuesday that devotees will be permitted for Arjita sevas from April 14 onwards but with Covid negative certificates only. All the Grihastas coming for all Arjita Sevas and ustavas have to submit Covid Negative (only three days old) certificates at Vaikuntam Queue complex As part of a special drive to protect the Srivari Utsava Idols from excess-usage, TTD has also decided to convert the weekly sevas Vishesha Pooja (Monday’s) and Sahasra Kalasabhishekam (Wednesdays) into annual sevas. Both the unique Arjita sevas will henceforth be performed at the Srivari temple once in a year that too as Circar Seva. Similarly, the Festival of Vasantothsavam will also be performed as an annual Seva.
