TTD is organizing  Sri Kamakshi Ammavari Sharannavaratri celebrations at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple from October 04 to October 12. During the nine-day fete, the presiding deity Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru will bless devotees in different alankarams every day. Tirumala: 450 Festivals in 365 Days

  Tirumala, the abode of the Universal Supremo of Kaliyuga, Sri Venkateswara Swamy, is always abuzz with pilgrim activities and religious festivities. Sri Renuka Yellamma Temple - Saundatti

Sri Renuka Yellamma Temple is located near Saundatti town in Belgaum district in the state of Karnataka. Goddess Renuka is the wife of Sage Jamadagni and the mother of Lord Parasuram. The Kollur "Shree Kshntram", situated in the Udupi Disctrict of Karnataka State, is one among the seven abodes of Salvation, in the creation of Parashurama. Kachakanti Mandir – Udarbond

Bathukamma Dates 2024

  Bathukamma is a festival celebrated in the state of Telangana. It is celebrated during the time of Sharad Navratri. It starts on Bhadrapada Amavasya and ends on durga Ashtami. Goddess Gowri is worshipped It is celebrated to thank goddess Parvati for her blessings for the crop harvest Bathukamma is a flower arrangement made by women. It is a conical arranagement of flowers that are placed in Seven concentric rings in a clay pot. The top of the arrangement is decorated with a pumpkin flower and turmeric. Women dance round these bathukammas singing traditional songs. After that these cones are set afloat in the river after worshipping goddess gauri. DASARA

Dasara is also known as Vijaya Dasami (Vijaya means victory dasami meaning 10 th  day) is celebrated by Hindu devotees all over India. It is believed that on this day, Lord Rama killed the demon king, Ravana, and rescued his abducted wife - Sita. It is celebrated as Goddess Durga destroyed the demon Mahishasura. Bengalis celebrate Dusshera as a part of their main festival - Durga Puja This day marks the end of Durga Pooja celebrations, the preceding nine days being collectively referred to as 'Navratri'. In the North-eastern state of Tripura, huge fairs are conducted and effigies of Ravana, Meghnath, and Kumbhkarna are burnt at Ramlila maidans. In the southern states, it is a special day for starting education or any form of art, such as dance and music. It is called 'Vidya aarambham' in Karnataka and Southern states. Huge processions and fairs take place across India. On Vijayadashmi, the idols of Goddess Durga are immersed in water, after the nine days of festivities.
