Tirumala Tirupati Brahmotsavam Dates 2023 (Adhika Masam)





Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at  Lord Venkateswara Temple celebrated for nine days in the months of September or October.
This year there are two brahmotsavams in Tirumala due to Adhika Masam

It is an ongoing tradition to conduct two brahmotsavams in Tirumala Temple when an 'Adhika Masam' is occurred in a year as per Lunar Calendar. But in normal due course only  one annual brahmotsavam is performed .


This year 2023, Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavams will be celebrated from September 18  2023  to September 26,  2023. Popular stories trace the origin of this celebration to Brahma, the creator God, who first conducted this festival to Sri Balaji at Tirupati. Brahma worshiped Sri Balaji on the banks of the holy Pushkarini in Tirupati as a way to give thanks for the Lord’s protection of mankind. Hence, this utsava bears his name as “Brahmotsavam,” which means “Brahma’s Utsavam.”

17.09.2023 – Sunday – Ankurarpanam: 7pm to 8 pm


18.09.2023 – Monday – Bangaru Tiruchi Utsavam: 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM.

Dhwajarohanam( Meena Lagnam) – 6.15pm to 6.30 pm.

Peddashesha Vahanam – 9pm to 11 pm.


19.09.2023 – Tuesday – Chinnashesha Vahanam – 8 am to 10 am.

Snapanathirumanjanam – 1pm to 3 pm.

Hamsa Vahanam – 7 to 9 pm.


20.09.2023 – Wednesday – Simha Vehicle – 8 am to 10 am.

Snapana Tirumanjanam – 1pm to 3 pm.

Mutyapupandiri Vahanam – 7pm to 9 pm.


21.09.2023 – Thursday – Kalpavriksha Vahanam – 8 am to 10 am.

Sarvabhupala Vahanam – 7pm to 9 pm.


22.09.2023 – Friday – Mohini Avataram – 8 am to 10 am.

Garuda Seva – Starts at 7 PM.


23.09.2023 – Saturday – Hanumantha Vahanam – 8 am to 10 am.

Golden Chariot – 4pm to 5 pm.

Gaja Vahanam – 7pm to 9 pm.


24.09.2023 – Sunday – Suryaprabha Vahanam – 8 am to 10 am.

Snapana Tirumanjanam – 1 to 3 pm.

Chandraprabha Vahanam – 7pm to 9 pm.


25.09.2023 – Monday – Rathotsavam – at 6.55 am.

Hamsa Vahanam – 7pm to 9 pm.


26.09.2023 – Tuesday – Pallaki Utsavam and Tiruchi Utsavam – 3 AM to 6 AM.

Snapana Tirumanjanam and Chakra Snanam – 6 am to 9 am.

Dhwajavarohanam – 7pm to 9 pm.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month. Tirumala: March 2025 Quota Details

  The March 2025 quota of Arjita Seva tickets will be released on December 18 at 10am by TTD online which includes Arjita Sevas viz. Suprabhatam, Tomala, Archana, Astadalam. The devotees shall register for these sevas from December 18-20 and those who got the tickets shall have to pay from December 20 onwards and before the 12noon of December 22. Meanwhile, the Arjita Sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva tickets will be released at 10am on December 21 while the virtual sevas and gheir darshan slots on the same day at 3pm. TTD will release the  the Anga Pradakshinam tokens at 10am, SRIVANI tickets at 11am, Physically challenged and senior citizens at 3pm on December 23. The Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan will be released at 10am on December 24, accommodation for Tirumala and Tirupati at 3pm on the same day.
