Covid Alert 2021 : TTD Temporarily Suspends Sarva Darshan Tokens from April 12

In view of the spike in Covid cases across the country in recent times, TTD has announced that it will suspend the issue of Sarva Darshan tokens at Tirupati from April 12 onwards i.e. SD tokens will be issued till the evening of April 11 only.

In a statement on Wednesday TTD said Covid cases were on the spurt again in Tirupati city. Since thousands of devotees have to wait at Bhudevi complex and Vishnu Nivasam for time slot tokens the prospect of Covid cases is likely to increase.

With the spurt in Covid cases from the last few days, the Shirdi temple in Maharashtra has already suspended Darshan. As in Tirupati also the Covid cases are increasing, TTD has taken this decision of dispensing with SSD tokens in Tirupati from Monday onwards.

TTD said the above decision was taken keeping in view of the health safety of devotees and any resumption of tokens in future will be formally announced.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. Dhanurmas or Dhanur Masa is also known by the names Chapa Mas, Kodanda Mas, Karmuka Mas, etc. Dhanurmasa is also called Shoonya Masa because it is considered inauspicious to do any good things other than Godly and holy functions. In 2024  Dhanurmasam starts on  December 16 and ends on January 13, 2025. This period ends with the Makar Sankranti - the end of dakshinayana mostly occurs during the Pausha month of the Hindu Lunar calendar. Tirumala: March 2025 Quota Details

  The March 2025 quota of Arjita Seva tickets will be released on December 18 at 10am by TTD online which includes Arjita Sevas viz. Suprabhatam, Tomala, Archana, Astadalam. The devotees shall register for these sevas from December 18-20 and those who got the tickets shall have to pay from December 20 onwards and before the 12noon of December 22. Meanwhile, the Arjita Sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva tickets will be released at 10am on December 21 while the virtual sevas and gheir darshan slots on the same day at 3pm. TTD will release the  the Anga Pradakshinam tokens at 10am, SRIVANI tickets at 11am, Physically challenged and senior citizens at 3pm on December 23.   Pushya Masam is the tenth month as per the lunar calendar. In this month farmers get their crop hence it is called Soubhagya Laksmi Masam. The sun would transit in the northern direction and from then onward the Uttarayana Punyakalam starts. Uttarayana starts with the most famous festival Sankranti.
