Shri Basavanagudi Temple Timings - Bangalore
Doddabasappa temple
situated in Bull Temple Road in Basavanagudi area in Bangalore in state of Karnataka.
This temple is Nandi who
is the Vahana of Lord Shiva with a height of 4.5 meters an 6.5 meteres long.
This Idol is said to be carved out of a
single stone. The bull has a small iron plate on its head. This plate prevents
the bull from growing.

Temple is said to be one of the biggest in the world.
This Temple was built in
16th century.
Every year on the last
day monday and Tuesday of Kartika Masa a groundnut fair is held in the temple
premises.
