Tirumala : Covid Test or Vaccine Must for Darshan

  The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has once again reiterated that only pilgrims with  Covid19 test Negative report done 48hours before or two doses vaccination certificate mandatory for Darshan or to visit Tirumala.   TTD has already been implementing this since October 1 onwards. But still some pilgrims are coming to Tirumala without the said reports and returning with disappointment   In the wake of fresh alerts by Central and State Governments in view of the fast-spreading of the Omicron virus across the country, TTD once again appealed to the devotees to come with Negative report or vaccine certificates for the benefit of their own health safety as well as that of the employees of TTD.   This has been done mandatory for the devotees visiting all TTD temples also. So the devotees are requested to co-operate with TTD.

TTD to release January 2022 Special Darshan Tickets

  TTD will release the January quota of 5500 virtual Seva Darshan tickets on December 23 at 4.00 pm concerning dates of January 1,2,13 and January 22-26 for benefit of online booking of devotees.   The TTD is also organising the release of SED Rs.300/- tickets of January quota online release on December 24 at 09.00 am.   TTD is also organising online release SED tickets (Rs.300/-) from January 1 &13-23 at daily 20,000 tickets on December 24 at 09.00 am.   Similarly, SED tickets for January 2to 12 and 23-31 at daily 12,000 tickets will also be released online.   With regard to the online release of accommodation, tickets will be released on December 27 morning at 09.00 am. However, devotees should obtain rooms at the current counters of Tirumala from January 11-14.

Katyayani Vrat is observed during Dhanurmas. Observed by Unmarried girls who wish to get good husband. Married women observe for long, Prosperous Married life. Mentioned in Bhagavatha Puranam, Skanda Puranam and Devi Mahatyam. Goddess Goda Devi was able to Marry Lord Sri Ranganatha swamy by observing this vrat. With the advice of lord Krishna gopikas also observed this vrat. Things to do : House must be cleaned. Must get early in the morning take head bath. The front portion of house must be cleaned by water in which cow dung must be added. Apply rangoli in that Portion. Katyayani Stotram or Katyayani Vrat Katha Must be Chanted early in the Morning.
