Mahalaxmi Temple

This temple is one of the most visited Hindu temples in Goa. Located in Ponda, North Goa, the deity of the entire population of Goa is worshipped here. The shrine of this temple has 18 images that depict the different sects of the Bhagwat Gita.

 

Shri Damodar Temple

Located in Sanguem, South Goa; this temple is said to be one of the most majestic places to visit in the city. Situated on the banks of the Kushawati River, devotees believe at river Kushwati can cure any sort of skin ailments. This temple also has very interesting rituals and culture which are followed by the devotees.

 

Mangeshi Temple

Located in Priol, Ponda in North Goa, this temple is a perfect blend of modern-day art and traditional Hindu patterns. The temple is known for its Deep Stambha which looks the best when lit with hundreds of diyas/ earthen lamps in the evening. Over the years, this temple has become one of the most-visited temples in the state.

 

Mahadeva Temple

Located in Sangeum, Surla; this is known as the Gem of Tambi Surla. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the structure of the temple is made with the finest of basalt stones. This is a historic temple in the state. People from all over the country visit this temple.

 

Maruti Temple

Located near the RTO circle in Ponda, Goa; this temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple depicts the history of its construction. Tuesday, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the temple sees a lot of devotees who come to offer prayers to the Lord.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month. The Brindavana that houses the samadhi is in the Raghavendra Mutt in Mantralayam and is visited by hundreds and thousands of devotees each year. Dhanurmasam 2024-25 Dates

Dhanurmas or Dhanur Masa is also known by the names Chapa Mas, Kodanda Mas, Karmuka Mas, etc. Dhanurmasa is also called Shoonya Masa because it is considered inauspicious to do any good things other than Godly and holy functions. In 2024  Dhanurmasam starts on  December 16 and ends on January 13, 2025. This period ends with the Makar Sankranti - the end of dakshinayana mostly occurs during the Pausha month of the Hindu Lunar calendar. More appropriately, the start of the Dhanurmas is marked by the entry of the Sun in the Dhanur Rasi this is called Dhanu Sankramana. During this month, the sun transits the Dhanur Rasi and enters the Makara Rashi at the end of this month. Sri Adi Sila Kshetram Temple Brahmotsavams 2024 Dates – Maldkal

Sri Adi Sila Kshetram Temple is located near Gadwal in the Mahaboob Nagar district of Telangana State. Here the presiding deity is Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Tirumala: March 2025 Quota Details

  The March 2025 quota of Arjita Seva tickets will be released on December 18 at 10am by TTD online which includes Arjita Sevas viz. Suprabhatam, Tomala, Archana, Astadalam. The devotees shall register for these sevas from December 18-20 and those who got the tickets shall have to pay from December 20 onwards and before the 12noon of December 22. Meanwhile, the Arjita Sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva tickets will be released at 10am on December 21 while the virtual sevas and gheir darshan slots on the same day at 3pm. TTD will release the  the Anga Pradakshinam tokens at 10am, SRIVANI tickets at 11am, Physically challenged and senior citizens at 3pm on December 23. The Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan will be released at 10am on December 24, accommodation for Tirumala and Tirupati at 3pm on the same day. Paush Month 2024-25 Dates

  Pushya Masam is the tenth month as per the lunar calendar. In this month farmers get their crop hence it is called Soubhagya Laksmi Masam. The sun would transit in the northern direction and from then onward the Uttarayana Punyakalam starts. Uttarayana starts with the most famous festival Sankranti. As per North Indian Calenders, this month starts on December 16 , 2024, and concludes on January 13, 2025. As per the Amavasyant Calendar (South India), this month starts on December 31, 2024, and ends on  January 29, 2025. Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at  Lord Venkateswara Temple celebrated for nine days in September and October. In this year 2025, Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy   Brahmotsavams   will be celebrated from  September  24 to   October 02. Popular stories trace the origin of this celebration to Brahma, the creator God, who first conducted this festival in Sri Balaji at Tirupati.
