Tirumala: Adhyayanotsavams to conclude on January 15

The 25-day Adhyayanotsavams will conclude on January 15 at Tirumala temple.

The festival which commenced on December 22, eleven days before Vaikuntha Ekadasi will conclude on Sunday.

On the 22nd day, Kanninum Siruttambu, the 23rd day Ramanuja Nutrandadi, the 24th day Sri Varahaswamy Sattumora and on the final day Tanniramudu Utsavam will be observed.

  Sri Azhagiya Singar Perumal Temple is located in Kanchipuram in the State of Tamilnadu. The presiding deity is Mukunda Nayakan who is incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is seated in a Yoga Position.   The once-in-a-year event, the procession of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murty in Tirumala on the auspicious occasion of Kaisika Dwadasi will take place on November 13. About the unique idol: Among the Pancha Beras(five types of idols), Ugra Srinivasa Murty is considered the Snapana Beram.  The idol of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murthy was also known as Venkatatturaivar and stands for the anger aspect of the Lord.
