It is stated that Lord Krishna loves this month. One can become free from all sins and begin anew throughout this month by meditating on and adoring Shri Krishna with all of their heart.
The Gita states that "Gayatri Chhandasamaham Brihatsam and Samnaam." "I am Brihatsam among the saams, Gayatri among the verses, Margashirsha among the months, and Vasant Ritu among the seasons," is the meaning of the phrase "Masanaan Margashirshohamritunaan Kusumakar." In this stanza, Shri Krishna speaks of himself as the month of Margashirsha. Skandapuran says that during this month, believers who want to experience God's blessings should observe certain rules.
By fasting in this month, one is blessed by Lord Krishna. According to the Puranas, by taking a bath in any holy river during Brahma Muhurta for at least three days in this month, all the wishes of the person are fulfilled by the deity. For women, this bath is believed to give them long lives and good health to their husbands.
In the month of Margashirsha, one gets relief from all worldly troubles when they happily worship Shri Janardan and make different types of offerings of flowers, seasonal fruits, excellent offerings, incense sticks Aarti, etc. We all know that Lord Krishna is very fond of butter and sugar candy. Therefore, offer him Makhan Mishri mixed with basil leaves daily, this will not only please Lord Shri Krishna but he will also remove all your troubles.
Chanting, observing penance, meditating, and doing charity in the month of Margashira are considered to be very fruitful for the devotees. Devotion to Lord Shri Krishna and chanting his mantras is also considered very beneficial in this month. The mantra to bechanted this month is 'Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya'. Do chant this mantra in the month of Margashirsha. On the other hand, to overcome every problem related to your children, it will be advised to chant the Krim Krishnaya Namah mantra 108 times a day in the month of Margashirsha.
According to the scriptures, Shri Krishna becomes very happy by reciting the Bhagavad Gita, especially in this month. A person who recites the Bhagavad Gita regularly remains happy and free from all fear.
