Tirumala: Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti on March 25

 

One of the major torrent festivals, Tumburu Theertha Mukkoti is scheduled on March 25 on the auspicious day of Phalguna Pournami in the advent of Uttara Phalguni star.

TTD has already appealed that the torrent festival falls in the peak summer, to ensure the health safety, and security of pilgrims. only physically fit pilgrims who are aged up to 60 years alone will be allowed to trek the path.

Also, pilgrims with obesity, heart ailments, asthma, and other chronic diseases will not be allowed given their health safety.

The devotees will be allowed from 5am to 3pm on March 24 and again from 5am to 11am on March 25.

Food and water distribution will be made by deploying a sufficient number of Srivari Sevaks.

Deployment of forest, and vigilance personnel for the safety of trekking devotees all through the path

Keeping ready medical teams and ambulance services and other safety measures

Continuous announcements on safety measures, precautions, do’s and don’ts

APSRTC buses to transport trekking devotees from Gogarbham to Papavinasanam.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month. Dhanurmas or Dhanur Masa is also known by the names Chapa Mas, Kodanda Mas, Karmuka Mas, etc. Dhanurmasa is also called Shoonya Masa because it is considered inauspicious to do any good things other than Godly and holy functions. In 2024  Dhanurmasam starts on  December 16 and ends on January 13, 2025. This period ends with the Makar Sankranti - the end of dakshinayana mostly occurs during the Pausha month of the Hindu Lunar calendar. Tirumala: March 2025 Quota Details

  The March 2025 quota of Arjita Seva tickets will be released on December 18 at 10am by TTD online which includes Arjita Sevas viz. Suprabhatam, Tomala, Archana, Astadalam. The devotees shall register for these sevas from December 18-20 and those who got the tickets shall have to pay from December 20 onwards and before the 12noon of December 22. Meanwhile, the Arjita Sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva tickets will be released at 10am on December 21 while the virtual sevas and gheir darshan slots on the same day at 3pm. TTD will release the  the Anga Pradakshinam tokens at 10am, SRIVANI tickets at 11am, Physically challenged and senior citizens at 3pm on December 23. The Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan will be released at 10am on December 24, accommodation for Tirumala and Tirupati at 3pm on the same day.   Pushya Masam is the tenth month as per the lunar calendar. In this month farmers get their crop hence it is called Soubhagya Laksmi Masam. The sun would transit in the northern direction and from then onward the Uttarayana Punyakalam starts. Uttarayana starts with the most famous festival Sankranti. Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at  Lord Venkateswara Temple celebrated for nine days in September and October.
