Sri Adi Jagannatha Perumal Temple is located in Thiruppullani Village in the outskirts of Ramanathapuram of Tamilnadu State It is one of the 108 divyadesam temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu Here Lord Vishnu is worshipped as Adi Jagannatha Swamy and Goddess Padmasini is the consort of Lord Vishnu This temple was built during 8 th century and constructed in Cholan style of architecture The name Thiruppullani comes from the belief that Rama slept with a pillow made of grass, called 'pul' in Tamil (thalai annai).
