Sri Adi Jagannatha Perumal Temple – Thiruppullani

  Sri Adi Jagannatha Perumal Temple is located in Thiruppullani Village in the outskirts of Ramanathapuram of Tamilnadu State It is one of the 108 divyadesam temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu Here Lord Vishnu is worshipped as Adi Jagannatha Swamy and Goddess Padmasini is the consort of Lord Vishnu This temple was built during 8 th century and constructed in Cholan style of architecture The name Thiruppullani comes from the belief that Rama slept with a pillow made of grass, called 'pul' in Tamil (thalai annai).   This temple has 5 tier Rajagopuram   The shrine of Adi Jagannatha houses the image of Adi Jagannatha, Bhudevi and Sri Devi in sitting posture.   The consort of Adi Jagannathar is Padmasini, housed in a separate shrine. Sri Vedagiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple is located on the top of Narasimhakonda Hills in the Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. Narasimha Swamy is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lakshmi Devi or Chenchu Lakshmi is the consort of Narasimha Swamy Here Swamy is Swayambu installed by Sage Kasyapa. Lord can be seen with four hands, two hands symbolizing protection, and blessing, and the other two hands holding conch and chakra. This temple has 6 tier Rajagopuram with Seven kinases. This temple was built during the 9 th century. A tree near Adi Lakshmi temple is believed to grant the boon of begetting children to childless couples. Women devotees tear a corner of their saree and put their offerings in a piece of cloth and tie it as a swing to the tree. Patrapushpa Yagam at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple on May 23

  Patrapushpa Yagam will be held on May 23 at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati.    Ankurarpanam will be held for this purpose on May 22. As a part of this, on May 23 from 7.30 am to 9.30 am, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be conducted for Somaskandamurthy.    Patrapushpayaga mahotsavam will be held from 10 am to 12 noon.    In this abhishekam is done with different kinds of flowers and leaves like tulsi, chamanti, ganneru, mogali, sampangi, rose, and lilies.    Thiruveedhi Utsavam will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm.   Grihastas (two persons) can participate in Patrapushpayagam by paying Rs.200/- per ticket. Annual Brahmotsavams were held in this temple from March 1 to 10.    During this festival, priests perform Patrapushpa Yagam as a Parharotsavam for the mistakes made by the staff, religious staff, devotees either knowingly or unknowingly.

Vasantotsavam at Tiruchanur Temple 2024 Dates

  The three-day annual Vasanthotsavams will be observed in Tiruchanoor temple from May 22-24 with Ankurarpanam on May 21 and Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on May 14. The devotees willing to participate in Sri Padmavati Ammavari Vasanthotsavams shall pay Rs.150 per ticket on which two persons will be allowed.
