Sri Vilwanatheswarar Swamy Temple Timings - Tiruvallam


Sri Vilwanatheswarar swamy temple is located at Tiruvallam, Vellore district in the state of Tamilnadu. This temple is located on the banks of Neeva river.

Here Lord Shiva is in the form of Vilwanatheswarar and Goddess Vallambigai is consort of lord shiva.

In this temple Nandi idol does not face the deity.

This temple has a 5 tier Rajagopuram which faces east. This temple was built by pallavas during 7th Century.

Consuming prasadam here bestows the devotees with wisdom an also relieves from Skin problems and laziness.

Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti.
