Rules for Sabarimala Darshan || Covid rules for Sabarimala Darshan

  The temple opens at 5 pm an 16 th October 2020, devotees will be allowed for darshan from next day morning. Must Know Rules Not more than 250 devotees will be allowed to visit the temple per day. Devotees will have to get their darshan time and date bookings registered via the virtual queue system, online. Only those who have their registration for darshan done will be permitted to visit the shrine. The bookings will be made on ‘first come, first serve’ basis. It will be mandatory for the devotees to produce their Covid-19 negative certificates (not older than 48 hours before their visit) upon their arrival at Pamba, the base camp of the temple atop the hill. Those arriving without a COVID-19 negative certificate will have to undergo a test for a fee at Nilakkal and wait for their reports. They will be permitted, only if they test negative.   Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is expected to launch a mobile app to facilitate LIVE darshan of deities in the shrine on the occasion of Shardiya Navratri. It will help them in  getting their registration done before their visit and even book helicopter services . The holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi is situated at an altitude of 5200 ft and about 12 kilometers away from the base camp in Katra in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
