Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple Timings - Tiruttani
Sri Subramanya Swamy temple is located at Tiruttani, Tiruvallur district in the state of Tamilnadu.
Lord Murugan is Swayambhu
here. Vajra Hastam in his right hand that would produce a sound as thunder. His
left hand is representing wisdom.
Goddess Valli and
Devasena are the consorts of Lord Murugan.
This is one among the six
Padaiveedu’s of Lord muruga.
The temple is located on
a 700 feet tall hill.
We can notice a scar on
the chest of the lord caused by his direct clash with the demon.
Surya puja is celebrated
in every year of March. Sun is said to worship Lord Subramanya by casting its
rays upon the holy feet on the deity on the first day, chest on the second day
and head on the third day through a hole in the wall.
This temple has 9 tier
Rajagopuram. And have five theerthams namely Vishnu, Naga, Brahma, Saravana and
Saptarishi Theertam.
This temple was built
during 9th – 10th Centuries.

September to February.

allowed for darshan.
