SAYINGS OF SRI SWAMY



1.    Feed the hungry but not the burping.

2.    Whatever you desire will be fulfilled; if asked in full faith.

3.    For granted, Venkaiah Swamy is in all creatures.

4.    Even if you leave me, I will not leave you.

5.    What is it that you gain from having Darshan of the Maharaja of Mysore? You reap what you sow.

6.    I will be blessing my devotees as per one faith.

7.    I will pick up my lamb even though it is in the herd of thousands.

8.    Equality and love for all will enable you to realize God.

9.    I am responsible for the welfare of the people who donate a mouthful of food in my name.

10.  There is no mantra or tantra, watch and learn from the good around you.

11.  It is nothing great if a sadhu sticks to dharma. It is great if a householder sticks to dharma.

12.  We must stick to dharma even while lending money for interest.

13.  We must achieve nobility, and simplicity, and serve Sadguru.

14.  You will incur a loss of ten rupees for stealing a quarter of a rupee.

15.  If we crave for a share in the profit; we would also share the sin.

16.  We should leave a place, rather than ask others to leave.

17.  If we give up greed, we give up all the sorrows.

18.  If you are careful that the thread is not severed (connection to him), I will be ever with you.

Yogadhyan Badri Temple Timings - Pandukeshwar

  Yogadhyan Badri is located in Pandukeshwar Village near Govind Ghat in Chamoli district in   the state of Uttarakhand.   It is one of the Pilgrimage of the Sapta Temples. It is fifth among the Sapta Badri temples. As per Mythology the Pandavas were born here, and King Pandu attained salvation and died here. Pandu installed the meditating image of Lord Vishnu here. So it is popular as Yoga-Dhyan Badri. Suryakund is important hot water Pond in the temple. Kunti was married to Pandu at Pandukeshwar. It is also said that King Arjun also meditated here which attracted God Indra. It is believed the idol of Vishnu which is present at the temple was given by Indra God to Arjuna as Gift. Sri Raghavendra Swami Aradhana 2024 Dates

Sri Raghavendra Swami was born as the second son of Gopikamba and Thimanna Bhatta in the year 1595. The great saint who was hailed as the incarnation of Prahalada, the great bhakta of Lord Maha Vishnu, was born in the Mrighashirsha Nakshatra at Buvanagiri which is in the present day Tamilnadu. Born as Venkatanatha and fondly called Venkata Ramana, Sri Raghavendra Swami was the epitome of piety and bhakti. After serving the world and the lord for a lifetime, Sri Raghavendra Swami attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1671. It happened on the Dwitiya of Krishna Paksha of the Shravana month. The Brindavana that houses the samadhi is in the Raghavendra Mutt in Mantralayam and is visited by hundreds and thousands of devotees each year.
