Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple – Mulbagal

Sri Anjaneya Temple in Mulbagal is one of the most popular temples in the country. It is located in the state of Karnataka. The Anjaneya Temple is about 300 feet long and 200 feet wide. The eastern structure of Vijayanagar is the temple, which is around 10 feet high from the sanctum sanctorum. Local lore holds that Arjuna installed this Anjaneya. Local accounts have also asserted that the Vaikasana Maharishi created this deity. There are three temples in the complex: Sri Lakshmi Venkataramanaswamy, Sri Govindarajaswamy, and Sri Varadarajaswamy. The Mogul Emperor's Revenue Minister was Raja Todar Mallanu. He is supposed to have traveled to South India on a pilgrimage and visited the Anjaneya temple at Mulbagal. Sri Bhagandeshwara Swamy Temple - Bhagamandla

  The Bhagamandala village in Coorg, Karnataka State, is home to the 898-meter-high Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple. Lord Shiva manifests as Sri Bhagandeshwara Swami. The premises have Lord Subramanya and Lord Ganesha placed. This place is also known as Bhagandeshwara Kshetra, from which the name Bhagamandala is derived. 2023: Surya Pujotsavam and Teppotsavam at Nagalapuram Vedanarayana Temple

Surya Puja Mahotsavam and Teppotsavam will be organized in the TTD local temple of Sri Veda Narayana Swamy from March 24-28. Legends say that during Matsyavataram Lord Mahavishnu after a relentless battle against demon somakasura was provided relief by Surya with his sun rays, which is tagged as Surya Pujotsavam. During the utsavam the sun rays hit the feet, stomach and the crown of the idol of Sri Veda Narayana about 630 feet away on all three days. On all three days Snapana Tirumanjanam is performed to the Utsava idols of Swami and his consorts. After Surya darshanam, thiru Vedi utsavam is performed.

Vasantotsavams in Tirumala

The annual festival of Spring-Salakatla Vasanthotsavams will be observed in Tirumala between April 3-5. This three-day festival will be observed in such a way that it concludes on the auspicious Chaitra Suddha Pournami. Every day during these three days, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be observed between 2pm and 4pm. at Vasanta Mandapam in a grand manner. On the second day morning between 8am and 10am, there will be a procession of the golden chariot. In connection with this festival, TTD has canceled Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva Arjita Brahmotsavam, and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on these three days while on April 4, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva also remains canceled.

Tirumala: Thumburu Theertha Mukkoti on April 6

The TTD is hosting the Sri Thumburu Thirtha Mukkoti fete on April 6 on Uttara phalguni nakshatra on Pournami day of Phalguna month, which is 7-1/2 miles from the Sri Venkateshwara temple. According to legend, seven of the many holy springs in the Seshachala Forest Range near the Srivari Temple provided worshippers with a variety of punya, including Mukti. These are Pandava Thirtha, Akashaganga, Papavinasham, Kumaradhara, Thumburu Thirtha, Ramakrishna Thirtha, and Swami Pushkarini. A holy bath in the holy springs situated in a magnificent hill range on this auspicious day is sure to bring believers enormous dharmic rewards.
