Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams in Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple

 


The annual three-day Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams will be observed in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram between June 24 to 26 while the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on June 22.


Every day there will be Snapana Tirumanjanam to the Utsava deities Sri Bhu sameta Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy between 10am and 11am while in the evening of the first day, Pedda Sesha, the second day of Hanumantha and on the last day Garuda Vahanams will be performed between 7pm and 8pm.


PARUVETA UTSAVAM ON JUNE 27:

After the three-day annual fete, Paruveta Utsavam will be observed on June 27 at the Paruveta Mandapam located near Srivari Mettu.


In connection with these festivities, TTD has canceled Tiruppavada Seva on June 22, and Arjita Kalyanotsavam from June 24 to 27.

  The once-in-a-year event, the procession of Sri Ugra Srinivasa Murty in Tirumala on the auspicious occasion of Kaisika Dwadasi will take place on November 13. Akshaya Navami

Akshaya Navami is observed on the ninth day of the Shukla Paksha in Kartik month in North India. it is also known as Amla Navami.     On this day, the Amla tree is worshipped as it is considered to be the abode of all Gods and Goddesses. The popular belief is that the Treta Yuga started on this day. Some people refer to the day as the beginning of the Satyuga. Lord Surya (Sun God) worshipped Goddess Durga on this day and was rewarded with properties that have him. Therefore it is believed that what is given on the day will never be destroyed but will only result in growth. Goddess Jagadhatri is worshipped on the day in West Bengal. An important event on Akshay Navmi is the distribution of alms and receiving of presents.
