Bonalu is a Festival Celebrated in the State of Telangana, and it is dedicated to Goddess Mahakali. It is celebrated in the month of Ashada Masam, in July/August.Bonam means "Bojanam" in telugu. Significance of Ashada Month

  According to tradition, the rainy season officially began in the month of Ashadha. As a result, one should exercise caution when drinking water because the amount of aquatic organisms in the water has increased due to this month's rains. Perur: Vakulamata Temple Anniversary on June 30

TTD is all set to observe the anniversary fete of Vakulamata temple located at Perurubanda near Tirupati on June 30. As a part of the fete, Mahashanti Homam, Purnahuti will be performed at 8am while Astottara Sata kalasabhishekam between 11am and 12 noon.

Tiruchanoor: Sundararaja Swamy Avatar Utsavam from June 27

The annual Avatara Mahotsavams of Sri Sundararaja Swamy will be observed in Tiruchanoor from June 27 to 29. Everyday the Abhishekam to Sri Sundararaja Swamy will be performed between 3pm to 4pm.  In the evening Sri Sundararaja Swamy Unjal Seva will be observed between 5:45pm and 6:15pm. The Lord will grace devotees on first day Pedda Sesha, second day Hanumanta and last day on Garuda vahanam. In view of the festival, TTD has cancelled Sri Padmavati Devi Unjal Seva in theses three days.

Eruvaka Purnima

  This is a special festival celebrated mainly by the farmers and agriculturists in the state of Andhra Pradesh and in south India. It falls on the full moon day in the month of Jyestha.  The farmers decorate their cattle with garlands and offer special treatment at the Thanksgiving ceremony. Also offers Puja to the sample of seeds also known as Navadhanya and agricultural implements.  After this they pray to the almighty for a good harvest.  This festival is totally dedicated to agriculture as the farmers depend upon the type of harvest so good harvesting is necessary and they treat agriculture as their baby in the cradle.
